28th April Workshop - Chris Peil

28th April Workshop - Chris Peil

Location: Mark Laws Performance Coaching, Old Larchwood, Beachamwell Road, Beachamwell, Swaffham, PE37 8AT.

Time: 10am - 3pm

About Chris:

.”I think there are four pillars to a competent educator:

1. What is your formal education and training?

2. What have you achieved yourself?

3. What have you helped clients achieve?

4. What formal competency do you have as an educator?

With that in mind…

1. I have an MSc in Sports Medicine and am registered with BASRaT, BASEM and the NSCA.

2. I have a world silver medal as a kettlebell lifter and have competed in strongman, Olympic lifting and indoor rowing so I've done a bit.

3. I worked with Eddie Hall on movement in preparation for his 2017 World's Strongest Man victory. I've also worked with Zydrunas Savickas, Laurence Shahlaei and Anth Bailes amongst others. At the other end of the spectrum I've used the same movement principles to help people avoid scheduled operations.

4. I have worked at a tutor and assessor for the biggest fitness training companies in the UK (a mixed 'blessing') and have PTLLS and A1 teaching and assessment qualifications.

I'll be delivering some assessment and corresponding 'corrective' techniques on the day that will be effective and usable immediately when you go back to your gyms.
